Day 7

Today we started at Green Monkey Yoga, and did a little downward dog. Somehow we ended up back on the beach later that day. Namaste.

Day 6

Today we enjoyed another amazing meal at Michael's Genuine Food and Drink in the Design District and then headed back to South Beach to soak up the sun and some of the chaos that is Ocean Drive. Crazy man.

Day 5

Went to the Everglades National Park today for a boat ride and to see the gators! We had a yummy banana shake along the way and then dinner out with KJ at the poshest mall in Miami, Carpaccios at Bal Harbour.

Day 4

We probably rode 80Km today! And in a massive thunder storm no doubt. We ended up taking refuge in the Mandarin Oriental to re-fuel on sushi before heading to Crandon Park Beach. We stopped at The Standard hotel on the way back, a hip happening place, which on that night was hosting the Electropico Sunset Sessions.

Day 3

Today was art day. We checked out the Wynwood Art District, specifically the Rubell Family Collection. Some interesting stuff. And afterwards joined KJ for yummy Dutch-Indonesian food at Indomania.

Day 2

Rode bikes today to South Beach and went to Lincoln Road, including shops at 1111 Lincoln Road, designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron (of Beijing's Bird's Nest fame). This is one very cool parking garage, including a Taschen bookstore. We also checked out the Dutch-designed park, by West 8, New World Org Soundscape park.

Day 1

We arrived in Miami and are staying at our friend, KJ's, apartment which is beautiful and literally overlooking the beach. Went to Fratelli Lyon, an Italian place, in the Design District. Think Eataly from NYC. FL occupies the front space of the Driade, a furniture showroom.
